One Day VTU consortium Training program on E-Resources for Academic Excellence on 20-08-2019

Department of Library and Information Center, “JNANA SANGAMA” of Tontadarya College of Engineering Mundargi Road, Gadag in association with VTU consortium of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi organized one day program on “VTU consortium training program on E-resources for academic excellence” on 20th August, 2019.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. K. R. Mulla, Librarian, Visvesvaraya Technological University Belagavi. During his address, he explained the importance of e-resources, how the e-resources are useful for researches, teaching faculties and students in their profession. He elaborated the birth and history of VTU consortium, the initiatives taken the best utilization of the subscribed e-resources by member institutions. He advised to take benefit of these resources and also the training program.
Dr. M. B. Uttarkar, Librarian, Tontadarya College of Engineering, Gadag welcomed all, and he explained briefly about the training program.
Dr. M. M. Awati, Principal, Tontadarya College of Engineering, Gadag in his address said, “Knowledge is the Power” to gain the knowledge we have to read more, learn more, know more then only we will succeed in our life. He suggested to all to take a best utilization of this training program to build their career.

Dr. Iranna Korachagaon, Vice Principal, TCE, Gadag and Prof. Sunil S. Patil, HOD, Basic Science, TCE, Gadag were present for the inaugural and valedictory function. 215 members participated in the training program. The programme was grand success.
